*WEATHER WARNING* We can't control the weather! FREEZE? RAIN? SNOW? CHECK WEATHER REPORT! - Cold months & wiper blades are deadly to newly installed decals. WAIT UNTIL WARMER DRY MONTHS TO INSTALL. If you do install in the cold, YOU'RE taking a huge risk that you are 100% responsible for. We do NOT replace decals or parts due to install errors! Do NOT heat the surface! Outside Temperatures MUST be *BETWEEN 60 & 90 DEGREES* before attempting the installation with NO freezes, Drops below 50 degrees, OR RAIN in the weather forecast for minimum 5 days. Keep scrapers & windshield wipers away from newly installed decals during freezes / rain. Decals are easily damaged if your decal has not had 5-7 days of sun & bond time before using wipers.

We offer SEVERAL different videos on our website. Please stop now and watch them. This will save you headaches later. DGDECALS.com

Wet Install Method (3 drops dish soap in spray bottle w/ water)

( Preferred Method For Most Windows, Vehicles, Boats, Trailers ect.)

Items Needed - Decal, Application Spray, Squeegee, Tape measure & Tape

VEHICLE INSTALLS - CHECK WEATHER REPORT! NO FREEZES & RAIN FOR 5 DAYS!Use a sign squeegee or an old credit/reward card as install tool

First, Clean surface well with rubbing alcohol. Do not use windex or other cleaners. You MUST use rubbing alcohol.

Align your decal where you want it. Measure sides to align if needed.

Then Tape a hinge across the middle OR top of the decal. Look for a

spot with no vinyl under it. (See video on website for visual details)

Next, Carefully & SLOWLY peel back the wax backing of the decal on one side of hinge. Then carefully tear the backing off at the point of the hinge. Be sure to hold tape so it does not tear or lift past the hinge. If decal sticks

to backing, Lay it back down and squeegee the front of the transfer tape to make decal stick to transfer tape. Make several passes as needed. Then slowly repeat lift process. Change lift angles if needed (this helps)

Next, spray the surface area mildly with application spray without getting opposite side of hinge wet. Make sure there isn’t too much soap in spray

Then carefully squeegee section down, pulling fluid under decal away from

the other side. Repeat this squeegee several times applying more pressure

each pass. Start applying gradual pressure to ensure all fluid is removed

from under transfer tape and vinyl. (the more you squeegee the better)

Next, Allow a couple minutes for decal to bond. Then carefully remove

tape hinge. Hold decal so tape does not lift it. (Do this slowly)

Then repeat the process to other side of the decal after removing backing.

Once you squeegee that side down as well with pressure, you MUST allow

decal to bond for MINIMUM 20 minutes before removing the transfer tape.

After 20 minutes has passed, Simply mildly spray the transfer tape with the application spray. Then allow 1-2 minutes to soak in. This helps release

vinyl. Then carefully & SLOWLY remove transfer tape by peeling up any corner of it and pulling at a sharp angle flat against other part of transfer tape. This step is delicate so if the decal under the tape starts to

come up, Lay the transfer tape back down and squeegee with pressure until decal sticks. Then repeat the removal. Do not squeegee the decal without the

transfer tape on it. Remove all transfer tape and your done!

Do not let ANYTHING touch the decal for several days to allow proper bond.

DRY INSTALL METHOD

Dry Install Method - ( NO application spray )

Use this method for Wall Decals & untreated wood surfaces

Use a sign squeegee or an old credit/reward card as install tool

First, Clean surface well with lint free rag. Do not use windex or other cleaners. This is a dry install. Your surface must be ideal.

Align your decal where you want it.

Then Tape a hinge across the TOP of the decal. Make sure this hinge (tape line) is touching the wall and decals transfer tape and make sure it is on real good and has a good bond to wall.

Look for a spot with no vinyl under it so it will be easier to remove transfer tape later.

Lift decal up so backing is visible and lift up to the hinge line. Then Carefully peel back the backing of the decal. Leaving the vinyl on the transfer tape. If for any reason the vinyl sticks to backing and not transfer tape, Lay it back down and squeegee the transfer tape over the area so it grabs the vinyl. Then carefully lift it again and remove the backing off at the point of the hinge. Be sure to hold tape so it does not lift past the hinge.

Next carefully lay it down on the wall from top to bottom slowly. Do not bend the decal or wrinkle It. Once the decal is flat on wall, Then carefully squeegee it down, pulling squeegee away from center in all directions numerous times.

Repeat this squeegee several times applying more pressure each pass to ensure all air or bubbles is removed from under transfer tape and vinyl.

Carefully remove tape hinge. Hold decal so tape does not lift it.

Once you have squeegee the entire decal down with pressure, Then carefully remove transfer tape by peeling up any corner of it and pulling at a sharp angle almost flat against other part of transfer tape. DO THIS VERY SLOWLY! Take your time inspecting to make sure decal is remaining on wall instead of tearing.

This step is delicate so if the decal under the transfer tape starts to come up, Lay the transfer tape back down and squeegee with pressure until decal sticks. Then repeat the transfer tape removal.

Once all transfer tape is removed, Press down any loose sections with your thumb firmly. Your decal is now installed!

AFTER YOU HAVE INSTALLED YOUR DECAL...

IMPORTANT DETAILS: Please do NOT touch decal or use high pressure car washes for atleast 3 weeks. Hand wash only as needed. If you installed your decal in the wipers path, Remember it will take several days before the decal has bonded enough to not be damaged easily. Damage is YOUR responsibility. If the forecast calls for rain, Avoid using the vehicle / Wipers if possible. Wipers WILL damage your decal if it has not had 5 days of good sun for it to bond properly. ****IF THERE IS ANY PROBLEMS, PLEASE CONTACT US! WE CANT FIX WHAT WE DON'T KNOW ABOUT****
